New Mutants Begins Production This Summer

With the X-Men franchise continuing to expand on film and TV, we can’t forget that one of their projects, New Mutants, is about to start production. Director Josh Boone teased that pre-production started already, and now it looks like filming is set to begin this summer. The upcoming film will start production on June 4th in Massachusetts, particularly in parts of Boston. Production for the film was listed in My Entertainment World, with most of their information coming out to be true. According to them, the production may be called ‘Teen Spirit’. If production is set to start, than we may see more information on the plot and who will be in the cast. Perhaps we may even see some returning faces, but we won’t know for sure for the next few months. Are you excited for New Mutants?

Danai Gurira Has Wrapped Filming for Black Panther

We haven’t heard much about Black Panther in a while, but we have received an interesting piece of information regarding production. Danai Gurira, known for her role as Michonne in The Walking Dead, just posted a picture on Twitter confirming that she has just wrapped on filming for Black Panther. With Danai done with filming, it’s safe to assume that the movie is almost done with production. We have seen some BTS videos of the stunts for the film. Gurira will be playing Okoye, the leader of T’Challa’s Dora Milaje.

Joe Quesada Reveals Promo Poster for The Punisher

We recently learned last week that The Punisher has already wrapped up filming for the series. A photo was leaked (via MCU Exchange) showing Marvel CCO Joe Quesada’s concept poster of the cast of The Punisher. Just like his The Defenders poster that came out a few weeks ago, this poster features most of the cast on the show, including Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle. It’s funny seeing Ben Barnes’ Billy Russo in the poster as his face isn’t all mauled up. Perhaps we might see the origins of how he becomes Punisher’s big adversaries known as Jigsaw? Check out the poster and let us know what you think.

Angourie Rice Rumored as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Homecoming

With so many young actors in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, we don’t know whom some of them will be playing but we may know who one of them will be. Actress Angourie Rice was cast in the film in an unspecified role, but a source on Twitter that Comic Book Movies found suggests that she’d be playing one of Peter Parker’s love interests, Gwen Stacy. We last saw Gwen in The Amazing Spider-Man film series, who was portrayed by Emma Stone. We do see that Peter (Tom Holland) will have feelings for Liz Allen (Laura Harrier), but perhaps we may see other love interests appearing in the film. Rice’s character could also be a random classmate as well, but we won’t know until the film gets released. What do you think?
