After having it’s fair share of Big Bads as speedsters, don’t expect it to be the same when The Flash comes back for it’s fourth season. During a panel at PaleyFest, EP Andrew Kreisberg revealed that next season wouldn’t have a speedster as the main villain like the past three seasons. “Next season we’re not going to have a speedster,” Kreisberg revealed at the panel according to TVLine. Regarding this season’s Big Bad Savitar, it looks like Kreisberg already has an idea as to who the villain is. “We know who he is under there, and we’ve been planning this for a while,” the EP said. We may even be getting clues as to who Savitar is by the 18th episode, where DC villain Abra Kadabra will be introduced. “He knows who Savitar is. It becomes a moral conundrum to Barry and the team.” Episode 19 will also have Barry (Grant Gustin) in search for answers when he heads to the future. Who do you guys think Savitar could be? Are you glad we won’t be seeing any more speedsters next season?

Joe Manganiello Unsure of His Role as Deathstroke in The Batman

The Batman has been having some production trouble since Ben Affleck revealing his trips to rehab, causing Joe Manganiello’s role of Deathstroke being called into question. During his recent interview with Pittsburgh Today Live, the actor seems pretty unsure whether he’ll be playing the Dark Knight’s adversary in the film. The Batman was also recently in reports suggesting that production wasn’t on track for the Spring. Manganiello suggested that maybe shooting could happen soon. We don’t know what will happen at this point, but hopefully we get more information in the coming weeks.

David Goyer May Possibly Direct Green Lantern Corps

Comic book movie scribe David Goyer is already working on a treatment for Green Lantern Corps, but a new report may suggest that he would be directing the film as well. In Meet the Movie Press, they revealed that Goyer may be stepping into the director’s chair for the new film. The screenwriter hasn’t had a good track record for directing superhero films since the failure of Blade: Trinity. He has directed some television since then, but choosing him as a director for the next DCEU film may be a risky move by Warner Bros. to partake. What do you think of this new development?
