The Bereavement Movie Trailer has premiered. Bereavement (2010) is directed by Stevan Mena and stars Michael Biehn, Brett Rickaby, Martin Bristol, Kathryn Meisle, John Savage, Nolan Funk, and Alexandra Daddario. Bereavement‘s plot synopsis: “The horrific account of 6 year old Martin Bristol, abducted from his backyard swing and forced to witness the brutal crimes of a deranged madman.” This film looks good. I am surprised it is not getting a theatrical release. Too bad but then again Trick r’ Treat got the shaft as well. As this film is a prequel to already released Malevolence I am looking forward to both films. Bereavement will premiere at The Long Island International Film Expo 2010 on July 16, 2010. Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief International Movie Trailer has premiered. Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief is directed by Chris Columbus and stars Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Abel, Rosario Dawson, Steve Coogan, Uma Thurman, Catherine Keener, and Pierce Brosnan. Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief‘s plot synopsis (spoilers): “A young boy named Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) discovers that he is the demigod son of the Greek god, Poseidon (Kevin McKidd). He embarks on a journey across modern-day America with his friends Annabeth Chase (Alexandra Daddario), also a demigod, and Grover Underwood (Brandon T. Jackson), a satyr, to save his mother (Catherine Keener), return Zeus’ (Sean Bean) stolen lightning bolt, and prevent a war between the gods.” I was not impressed by the first Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief Movie Trailer but this International Movie Trailer certainly puts more of its cards on the table. There is more action and Uma Thurman shows at the end of the trailer as Medusa. Very surprising.
