Taken 2 Plot Details. Olivier Megaton‘s Taken 2 (2012) plot video details about the first hour of the Taken sequel that is currently in production. Taken 2‘s plot synopsis: “In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter.”

Taken 2, like Taken, was written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.

I loved Taken (reviewed here: Taken (2009) Film Review) and though there is some trepidation, I am looking forward to the sequel as well.

The Untitled Taken Sequel will star Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Serbedzija, Leland Orser, and Luke Grimes.
