Taken Trailer

I loved the first teaser trailer for Taken. This Taken trailer gives you more information on Liam Neeson’s character. “Bryan [Liam Neeson], a former secret agent living in the US, is divorced; he is fond of his 17-year-old daughter Kim [Maggie Grace] who lives with his ex-wife and her new husband. Kim wants to take a vacation in Europe with her friend Amanda [Katie Cassidy], and together follow the Europe tour of U2. Kim’s mother allows this, but Kim also needs permission from Bryan. Since Kim fears that Bryan will not consent because of cautiousness, she pretends that they will only go to Paris.” The fact that Luc Besson produced this film is another inducement to see this film, especially if you are a fan of The Professional.

Fantastic movie, straight up no nonsense action and killing once the abduction takes place. And even though it comes from the guys who make the Transporter movies the hand to hand, which is plentiful, is all brutal and to the point, more Bourne than anything else. Also some great and simple gunfights, Neeson is the man in this, hope it gets a release here.
I’ve seen it and am writing a review for it. Loved it. How are they saying this is PG-13? Neeson f*cks people up in this film. Throats, bone-breaking, torture, etc. This is at the dark, bloody end of PG-13, if there is such a place. Well, they did show blood pumping out of Frodo’s finger in Return of the King so the rating isn’t really that far fetched. It will be a crime if it doesn’t get released here.
