Tallulah Trailer

Sian Heder‘s Tallulah (2016) movie trailer stars Ellen Page, Allison Janney, Tammy Blanchard, Zachary Quinto, and John Benjamin Hickey. Tallulah‘s plot synopsis: “Lu (Ellen Page – Whip It, Inception), who lives in a van and is fiercely independent in her hand-to-mouth existence. When a chance encounter incites her to impulsively “rescue” a baby from a negligent mother, Lu, at a loss for what to do, turns to the only responsible adult she knows: Margo (Allison Janney – Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, The Way, Way Back), who mistakenly believes she’s the child’s grandmother.”

They gave away a lot in this trailer it seems. Key moments for Acts 1, 2, and 3 of the film mixed together. I wonder how the police catch up to Lu since she was only posing as a hotel employee. Thankful that wasn’t spoiled in this trailer.

On the positive side of things, the relationship that springs up between Lu and Margo seems born of mutual need. That need bonds them in a very real way rather quickly.
