2016 TCA Awards Winners

The People V. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, The Americans, Mr. Robot, and the other winners of the 2016 Television Critics Association Awards have been announced. The Television Critics Association (TCA) is “a group of approximately 200 United States and Canadian journalists and columnists who cover television programming. They meet in the Los Angeles area twice a year, in January and July, in conferences known as Winter and Summer Press Tours.”

Lauded The People V. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story was the big winner of the 2016 TCA Awards. I was not surprised that the first season of American Crime Story won three times but I was surprised that The Leftovers didn’t win at all. The Leftovers is one of the best dramas on television. The Americans and Mr. Robot are both top-tier TV dramas with later quickly growing a rabid fan base.
