Kubrick said, “Sometimes the truth of a thing is not so much in the think of it, but in the feel of it.” Our goal with Telescope was to explore our sense of wonder, the feel of ideas beyond comprehension.

Telescope was shot on the Sony F65, utilizing a true 4k workflow from camera to finished DCP. Taking advan- tage of the new Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) and 16bit OpenEXR, Telescope showcases what’s possible at the extremes of modern imaging. Telescope is current- ly being used to test high dynamic range display technol- ogies.
