@Waywardjam. Summer played a similar aloof role on Serenity, which probably helped with her getting the Cameron role. That and Friedman had wanted to cast her in something else previously. I love how they worked in Summer’s ballet background into the show.

Cromartie not killing Dickson made no sense at all.

@Hugo. I’ve seen the Dexter ep but skipped True Blood. I’ll give it a watch though. It does star Anna Paquin.

Usually a ton of new show screeners get online early, kind of slow this year. Only ones of note now are Dexter’s first episode of Season 3 and one more episode of True Blood, which actually got a little better and interesting than the first episode.

I have last night’s ep on DVR. Can’t wait to watch it. I think the little things Summer Glau does as the Terminator makes it awesome; not flinching when slammed into walls, her creepy matter-of-fact commentary.

Cromartie not killing Dickson was weird, and I hope some explanation is provided - maybe he’s a future asset or something. Keeping my fingers crossed for more onscreen violence this time around too.

Thx for the heads up on Fringe. I think I’ll have to watch it this afternoon. I’ve been looking forward to that show. I had no idea it was out. I’m slipping. BTW, the blond in that show is hot but you already know that.

Change your update, you just saw the first episode of Season 2. Great episode, good action and some nice evolution of the plot, great ending, wasn’t expected. Now to see Fringe, leaked pilot online was awesome and there was some tweaking done to it along with more FX work so its worth a second look.
