The 5th Wave Trailer 2.  J Blakeson‘s The 5th Wave (2016) movie trailer 2 stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Liev Schreiber, Maika Monroe, Nick Robinson, and Maggie Siff. The 5th Wave‘s plot synopsis: based on the book by Rick Yancey, “Four waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, Cassie is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal 5th wave, Cassie teams up with a young man who may become her final hope – if she can only trust him.

This film does not look as though it is going to do well. It feels lame. The trailer doesn’t build any anticipation. Is it one of those weird conundrums where the trailer is bad and the film is good (Luck Number Slevin)? Or does this second, uninteresting trailer herald a loss for Sony Pictures Entertainment? I believe it is the latter.
