The Black List for 2015. The Black List, a listing of the top unproduced screenplays for 2015, has been released. The best unproduced screenplays of 2015 found in The Black List were compiled by votes from over 250 film executives. Entitled ‘The Black List,’ the annual compendium highlights both established screenwriters and up-and-comers, and has served as a launching pad in the past for many film projects. More than 226 screenplays found in the annual Black List listing have been made into motion pictures. These films include Argo, Juno, Slumdog Millionaire, The Descendants, and The King’s Speech to name a few. At the box office, these movies have made over $19 Billion and have won 35 Oscars at the Academy Awards.

The 2015 Black List scripts are listed in descending order, the script with the most votes (film executive mentions) at the top:

BUBBLES by Isaac Adamson

A baby chimp is adopted by the Pop star Michael Jackson. Narrating his own story, Bubbles the Chimp details his life within The King of Pop’s inner circle through the scandals that later rocked Jackson’s life and eventually led to Bubbles’ release.
