This looks very interesting but they gave up some big surprises, big surprises. All the tech aspects should have been left out in my opinion.

More on The Cabin in the Woods‘s history:

For a few years now, there has been no small amount of mystery surrounding The Cabin in the Woods, the horror film directed by Cloverfield screenwriter Drew Goddard and co-written by Goddard and Joss Whedon. At one point you could find a great deal of praise about the script, without much specific mention of exactly what makes the story tick, and what (if anything) makes the movie different.

MGM shot the film in early 2009 with a pre-fame Chris Hemsworth in the lead.

MGM delayed the movie to convert it to 3D, and then the film nearly disappeared altogether thanks to the company’s bankruptcy.

Lionsgate picked up the film a few months ago.

The Cabin in the Woods also stars Richard JenkinsBradley Whitford, Brian White, Amy Acker, Reila Aphrodite, Jodelle Ferland, Chelah Horsdal, Tom Lenk, Monique Ganderton, and Richard Cetrone.
