The Colony‘s plot synopsis: “The Colony follows a ragtag group of unfortunates struggling to survive amid the world’s next ice age.

Plagued by sickness and internal conflict, and running short on supplies, the members of Colony 7 suspect the worst when they manage to lose contact with the only known other survivors in neighboring Colony 5. When they set out to discover the fate of the others, the team discover a threat much worse than nature and desperately battle to save themselves in what just might be humanity’s last stand.”

The effects in this film seem half and half: half of them seem good, half of them seem bad. The premise reminds me of Screamers and Sunshine a little bit.

The Colony also stars Atticus Dean Mitchell, Dru Viergever, Romano Orzari, Lisa Berry, Lucius Hoyos, Michael Mando, and Kimberly-Sue Murray.
