The CW Developing Arrow/Flash Superhero Team-Up Spinoff Series

Arrow/Flash Spinoff

Arrow/Flash Spinoff to Become a DC Comics Team-Up Series. The world of Arrow and The Flash are continuing to expand as The CW is in early stages for another spinoff. This new series will be a team-up of sorts featuring some familiar faces from both shows.

According to Deadline, this spin-off will serve as an ongoing team-up of superheroes featuring The Atom, Firestorm, Captain Cold, and surprisingly, Sara Lance’s Canary. With the Canary returning, we should expect Caity Lotz to come back to the role. Arrow’s first Canary was killed in the beginning of the show’s third season, so does this mean she will be resurrected? Not exactly because the new show may have flashbacks and the report even suggested that Lotz may play a new character.

Other actors returning to the show are Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, and Wentworth Miller, who reprise their roles as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Leonard Snark/Captain Cold, and Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm. It’s a safe bet that Robbie Amell will also return to play the other half of Firestorm as well.

Also, the new series will feature three big DC characters who have never been in a live-action TV series before. Who will they be you ask? Your guess is as good as ours.

Although there isn’t a title for the new show yet, the spin-off’s approach sounds like it could be an adaptation of the popular team-up comic book series ‘The Brave and the Bold.’

The show won’t probably air until midseason next year so it’s too soon to tell when we may get an airdate since the network hasn’t picked up the potential series. Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and Marc Guggenheim will return as executive producers on the new show. So are you guys excited for this new series?
