THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (2012) Featurette: Christopher Nolan

Christian Bale The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises Featurette. The Dark Knight Rises (2012) featurette showcases the cast of the third and final Christopher Nolan Batman film talking about the film, their characters, film settings, etc. I have not watched the featurette because I want to go into the film as fresh as possible, as fresh as I can after viewing The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Prologue, 6-Minute Opening Scene and The Dark Knight Rises (2012): MTV Movie Awards Video Footage.

The Dark Knight Rises‘ plot synopsis: “It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises‘ cast includes Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Stewart, Daniel Sunjata, Burn Gorman, Diego Klattenhoff, Josh Pence, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Alon Aboutboul, Nestor Carbonell, Brett Cullen, and Juno Temple.
