THE DARKEST HOUR (2011) Movie Trailer: Chris Gorak, Emile Hirsch

Emile Hirsch, The Darkest Hour 2011

The Darkest Hour Trailer. Chris Gorak‘s The Dark Hour (2011) movie trailer stars Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Joel Kinnaman, and Rachael Taylor. The Dark Hour‘s plot synopsis: “The DARKEST HOUR is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.”

The Dark Hour looks interesting but I thought the exact same thing about Skyline and Battle: Los Angeles and those films turned out very poorly. The angle that the aliens are invisible is a great take on the alien invasion scenario as well as the fact that they can’t see life behind inanimate objects.

The Dark Hour is

produced by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and written by Jon Spaihts (Ridley Scott’s Prometheus).
