THE FANTASTIC FOUR (2015): Official Synopsis Released

The Fantastic Four

Official Synopsis of The Fantastic Four Gets Released. Fans have been wondering what to expect when The Fantastic Four reboot gets released in 2015. We may not have gotten any photos from the movie, but we did just get the synopsis of the film.

The synopsis of the film appeared on the site Rotten Tomatoes, which claims that Fox is the author. Based on the description of the plot it seems official and quite similar to the origin story of the Marvel superhero team. Check it out:

The Fantastic Four, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. (C) Fox

After reading this, its safe to assume that Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and siblings Susan and Johnny Storm are referred as the outsiders. It makes a different dynamic than the 2005 film by making the team as a bunch of loners. With the alternate universe in play, it looks like we will be able to see the Negative Zone or the N-Zone, which is where they will get their powers. At the end of the synopsis, it alludes that Victoc Domashev will be the former friend who becomes the menace known as Doctor Doom. It’s hard to tell if Fox has officiated this since this came straight from Rotten Tomatoes, but if it is then we may have a good idea of what the film will be about.

The film is scheduled to release on August 7, 2015. What are your thoughts on this synopsis?
