Grant Gustin Says Barry Allen Will Discover New Aspect of His Powers in Second Season of The Flash. The first season of The Flash only grasped some of the speedster’s powers. However, this coming season will tackle more of his powers, according to Grant Gustin.

Speaking in the latest DC All Access, the main star of The CW series revealed that Barry Allen would be showing off a new power in the second episode of the new season, and it has some thunder to it. “In the second episode, Barry… discovers a new aspect of his powers — involving lightning,” Grant Gustin shared. “And it is very, very cool. I’m excited about it!” We certainly can’t wait to see Barry’s newfound powers when he speeds across Central City. Perhaps Jay Garrick may have something to do with this since he will appear as a character in the series.
