THE FOSTERING (2015) Teaser Trailer: Brazilian Horror Indie Traps Evil Spirit in Basement

The Fostering Teaser Trailer

The Fostering Teaser Trailer. Rodrigo Gasparini and Dante Vescio‘s The Fostering (2015) movie trailer stars Pedro CarvalhoIvo Müller and Sidney SantiagoThe Fostering‘s plot synopsis: “Three teenagers go visit a friend at his old farmhouse for the weekend. What they didn’t expect was to be stuck in the middle of a centenary war between good and evil.”

The first time we wrote about the Brazilian indie-horror, O Diabo Mora Aqui, or as it’s been retitled for commercial purposes, The Fostering, was when a really great hand-drawn poster was released as marketing material. Take a look at it here – good stuff, isn’t it?

In any case, we now have a trailer that’s labeled a ‘teaser’. I like how little it gives away, and I like the tone and visuals. This seems a bit above average, and I do love my horror slow, tense, suspenseful – this seems to focus on that. Of course, I love all the satanic elements, too – that goes without saying. I hope we get to see how this all came together soon (I’m sure this’ll end up on VOD within two or three months). If you’re in Spain, go check this out and tell us how it went!

Marco Margaritoff

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
