Jacob Tremblay Joins The Cast Of Shane Black’s The Predator
In addition to The Book of Henry, Tremblay has appeared in Burn Your Maps, Before I Wake (which also featured recently-announced Predator co-star Thomas Jane), and, most notably, Room, which garnered Academy Award nominations for Best Picture and Best Director. He is set to appear next in Wonder, a drama film from The Perks of Being a Wallflower author Stephen Chbosky.
When filming on the highly-anticipated Predator sequel begins in February, Tremblay will act opposite such notable actors as Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, and Sterling K. Brown. Helming the project is Shane Black, the Iron Man 3 director known for his penchant for including child actors in his projects.
The source of this story is Superherohype, which shared the following about the original Predator series:
The original Predator was directed by John McTiernan and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of a United States special forces team that comes under attack from an alien entity that prizes the thrill of the hunt above all else. It was followed by a direct sequel, Predator 2, in 1990 before crossing over with Fox’s Alien franchise for two additional sequels, Alien vs. Predator and AvP: Requiem. In 2010, Nimrod Antal helmed a reboot with a new feature, Predators.
