Michael Sheen And Michelle Monaghan Cast In The Price Of Admission

BAFTA-nominated The Queen actor Michael Sheen and Pixels actress Michelle Monaghan will headline Peter Glanz’s planned drama film The Price of Admission.

While Sheen is best known for playing British prime minister Tony Blair in the aforementioned Queen as well as two other productions, he is also widely recognized for any number of other characters he has portrayed. He has had notable appearances in Frost/Nixon, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Alice in Wonderland, 30 Rock, and Showtime‘s Masters of Sex. Meanwhile, Monaghan made her mark as Maggie Hart in the first season of True Detective.

Described as “part-dramedy” and “part-existential thriller” by, the movie will see Sheen play Harold Sugar, a playwright struggling to cope with middle age and marriage troubles. His wife Eliza, who will be played by Monaghan, longs for a family and career of her own but Harold’s gradual descent into madness jeopardizes both of their happiness.
