THE SCRIBBLER (2014): XLrator Media Acquires US Distribution for Film

The Scribbler‘s US distributor is XLrator Media. The acquisition of The Scribbler (2014) by XLrator Media answers the question of what company will distribute the John Suits film in the United States.

written by Daniel Schaffer, who wrote and illustrated the 2006 graphic novel on which the film is based…New Artists Alliance’s Gabriel Cowan Ken F. Levin of NightSky Productions produced, and Kerry Johnson as well as Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller of Caliber Media executive produce — the pic is the first of four films in a co-production deal between NAA and Caliber. The deal was negotiated by XLrator CEO Barry Gordon and Mike Radiloff  and Traction Media on behalf of the filmmakers

The Scribbler‘s plot synopsis: “Suki, a woman confronting her destructive mental illness using “The Siamese Burn,” an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being “cured,” though, she’s haunted by a thought: What if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?”

And that unwanted identity… what do you do when it turns out to be you?
