THE STRAIN: Season 3.6: The Battle of Central Park: Trailer [FX]
The Strain: The Battle of Central Park:Â Trailer
FX’s The Strain ‘The Battle of Central Park’ TV show trailer stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Richard Sammel, Kevin Durand, Rupert Penry-Jones, Miguel Gomez, Ruta Gedmintas, JoaquÃn Cosio, Natalie Brown, Max Charles, Samantha Mathis, Meghan Allen, and Jonathan Hyde.
Justine Feraldo’s (Samantha Mathis) whack-a-mole war of control goes full war of eradication, as Fet’s (Kevin Durand) discovery, of the Stragoi’s central (park) nest, gives the resistance something to focus its full might on. Unfortunately, poking at nests, full of things that sting, tend to evoke a violent frenzy response – the kind Feraldo may have neither fully appreciated, nor accounted for. I get the feeling she’ll likely be counting on Stragoi eradication before bedtime.
The violence extends both above & below ground (’cause if you’re going to fight vampires at night, why worry about doing it in subterranean tunnels, right?), as Gus & Angel (Miguel Gomez, JoaquÃn Cosio) get some help with their hopeless situation.
With Stinger smarts again quite in evidence, this may be the resistance’s last chance to learn about better living through UV light distribution. Suspension of disbelief has become a requirement for watching this show, sure; but the conduct of this battle could be a make or break moment – for the audience, not the cast.
‘The Battle of Central Park’ airs Sunday, Oct. 2, at 10:00pm EST, on FX.
