THE TASK (2010) Movie Trailer: Simon Fellows, Alexandra Staden

The Task Movie Trailer has premiered. Simon Fellows‘ The Task (2010) stars Alexandra Staden, Victor McGuire, Adam Rayner, and Antonia Campbell-Hughes. The Task (2010)’s plot synopsis: “Having accepted the challenge to play on The Task reality show, six students have each been offered the chance to win no less then $10 thousand dollars towards their college student loans. The only thing they’ll be required to do, is survive the night of terrifying dares that await them in an abandoned prison. As they each take turns, testing their abilities to cope with the horror that lurks in the shadows, they will one by one face the ultimate terror. As the haunted building’s past soon reveals the truth behind the atrocities that actually took place there, the players of the game will be confronted with paranormal life and death situations.” The same old stranded group stalked formula the viewer has seen in a ton of horror movies, including Carpenter’s The Thing. They even give away part of the ending right at the beginning of the movie trailer. Brilliant. I guess the person who put this movie trailer together didn’t see the 127 Hours Trailer and did not see first hand how conceal the ending to a film. Even with all of those minuses, this horror film does seem to have some good kills. Check out The Task movie trailer below and leave your thoughts on them.
