The Walking Dead Season 2 Trailer. Frank Darabont‘s The Walking Dead: Season 2 TV Show Trailer stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, and Jeffrey DeMunn. The Walking Dead‘s plot synopsis: “The Walking Dead tells the story of the weeks and months that follow after [an] apocalypse. Based on Robert Kirkman’s hugely successful and popular comic book series.”

About where Season 2 of The Walking Dead begins:

Darabont reaffirmed the story picking up literally right where the first six episode season ends saying, “It picks up 2 seconds after the end of season 1. It literally begins with them driving away from the CDC. There’s none of this six months later bulls***.” Darabont went on to comment on who the they were looking at to cast future characters Michonne, Tyreese and the villainous Governor after Kirkman joked that actor Ed O’Neill would play all three of them. “The fair answer is, we’re actually having those conversations as we speak,” said Darabont.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 also stars Scott Wilson, Lauren Cohan, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Steven Yeun, Emma Bell, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, IronE Singleton, Neil Brown Jr., Melissa Suzanne McBride, Madison Lintz, and Jeremy Ambler.

Executive producers are Frank Darabont, Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, and Charles “Chic” Eglee. Jack LoGiudice serves as co-executive producer with Denise Huth as producer. Written by Darabont, Eglee, LoGiudice, Kirkman, Glen Mazzara and Adam E. Fierro.
