THE WALKING DEAD: Season 6, Episode 11: Knots Untie: Trailer & Clips [AMC]

AMC’s The Walking Dead Knots Untie TV show trailer & clips. Friends, let me ask you a question. Do you know Jesus? We know, for TWD version, that Jesus (Tom Payne) kicks kick-ass ass – at one point literally running circles around Rick & Daryl (Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus), backs up his nerve with charm, and is very, VERY good at untying knots (that might be an obvious reference for next ep’s title, but there are relationship & even karmic principle to consider). He also seems very good at getting weapons drawn on him (which would be where the rest of the skill-set comes in handy, I guess); and his last stunt, getting weapons pointed at him (two, in Rick’s case), looks like it won’t be his last draw-down moment, after all, based on the trailer. So, do we really get to know Paul Rovia (his actual name – but, Jesus, that nick-name, tho)?

From escalating levels of awkward introductions, to Rick’s Townies, Paul will be introducing the Alexandrians to the wider world of the ZA landscape. His knack for getting drawn on just doesn’t look to be letting up, though. Source fans should be eye-gasming over current events, sure enough, with more than a hint of dread for what comes after. Closer to home, however, more personal moments may serve as part of a larger calm, before the storm.

In one such case, Abe & Sasha (Michael Cudlitz, Sonequa Martin-Green) have an awkward moment of their own – with Sasha signing off in a manner that could gain resonance, down the road. In the other, a happy-future-can-and-will-be-ours moment, between Glenn & Maggie (Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan), is interrupted by what I assume will be some initial reaction to that last Jesus stunt (the one that got two of Rick’s guns pointed at him).

‘Knots Untie’ also stars Melissa McBride,  Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, Josh McDermitt, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Austin Nichols, Seth Gilliam, and Ross Marquand. It airs Sunday, Feb. 28, at 9:00pm EST, on AMC.
