THE WOLVERINE 3 (2017): Hugh Jackman Teases Sabretooth & Berserker Rage

Liev Schreiber X-Men Origins Wolverine

Hugh Jackman Teases Possible Sabretooth Appearance and Berserker Rage in Wolverine 3. In 2017, Hugh Jackman will put on the claws one final time as Wolverine. After asking fans on Twitter what they want to see in the movie, he revealed some of these responses may be used.

With Hugh Jackman working on his final Wolverine film, he went on Facebook and asked fans everywhere to tell him what they want to see in Jackman’s last bout as the clawed mutant. During an interview with the Sydney Confidential podcast, Jackman took a moment to talk about the responses he received and teased what we might see in the upcoming sequel.

There were a lot of calls for Victor Creed to come back, there was… I must admit I was quite heartened by a number of people saying please don’t make it the last, but I’m really excited about this last one, and if you’re a comic book fan, then the words ‘berserker rage’ came up a lot, so if you know Wolverine, you’ll understand.

Seeing Victor Creed in the sequel would be a great addition to the film. He was last played by Liev Schreiber in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so it’s possible he can reprise his role but it’s too soon to tell. With berserker rage, it would be better to see Wolverine utilize this skill once last time against his enemies. For those who don’t know, berserker rage is a state of mind where Wolverine would go all out in with intensity and rage like an animal, making him resistant to psionic attacks. We’ve seen some teases of that ability in X2 and the extended edition of The Wolverine.

What do you guys think of Sabretooth coming back to face off against Wolverine for one last fight? How about seeing Wolverine use berserker rage one final time? Expect to see Wolverine 3 to slice in theaters March 3, 2017.
