Patrick Stewart Reveals Professor X To Appear in Final Wolverine Movie. So it looks like Patrick Stewart would reprise his as Professor X in Hugh Jackman final Wolverine film, but will it be just a cameo? Well, the actor revealed that his role might become more than just a cameo.

While promoting his new show Blunt Talk, Collider asked Patrick Stewart on returning to his role as Professor X in the new Wolverine film and whether it would be inspired by the Old Man Logan storyline. The veteran actor shared some details saying that his character would be making “more than an appearance”. Patrick Stewart, however, doesn’t know if the Old Man Logan story will be utilized, but the actor says he looks forward to seeing Jackman age.

I think what you say is true. There is a project in development. I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me. And the idea of an old Wolverine – I’m really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I’m hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he’ll make me look better if that’s the case.
