Taika Waititi Thor: Ragnarok

Taika Waititi Discusses Loki and Hela’s Appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. With Taika Waititi directing Thor: Ragarok, the man behind the threequel talked briefly on Tom Hiddleston’s return as the God of Mischief Loki and seeing Cate Blanchett possibly playing the villainess Hela.

Speaking with Wired, Taika Waititi says he still has no clue where Loki would fit into the new film. “At the moment, everyone’s trying to figure it out, like ‘What’s he going to do?’” Waititi said. “Everyone loves that character.” However, the director did confirm that Cate Blanchett will be part of Thor: Ragnorok. “Look, it’s so early I’m not sure exactly what the extent of it is, but it’s looking good, which would make me very happy,” the Academy Award nominated director explained. Waititi hasn’t verified the rumors that she would be playing Hela. “Yeah, the rumor… Here’s the thing. I can’t say anything. I’ve probably said way too much.”
