The other actresses on the short-list [Sarah Wright, Brooklyn Decker] have been informed that the female lead will go to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, so unless things fall apart at the negotiating table, she’s the new Transformers 3 gal.

Paramount Studios has already begun production of Transformers 3 so Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has about two weeks to rehearse her lines and know her part before appearing on set. Landing the starring role in Transformers 3 is a huge career bump for Whiteley. Everyone knows what it did for Megan Fox’s career. The general public had no idea who she was before the film premiered. The same effect should happen for Whiteley.
