Trick ’r Treat Movie Trailer

I have been waiting to see Trick ’r Treat for a long time. It was supposed to come out last year, October 5, 2007, to be exact. It is written and directed by Michael Dougherty, who helped write X-Men 2 and Superman Returns. It stars Oscar winner Anna Paquin and is “an anthology of [four] Halloween–related scary stories.” There is no official word on when Trick ’r Treat will be released. At first it was pushed back to October 2008, now IMDB is saying sometime in 2009.

Arrow believes the film is being privately sold by Legendary Pictures to another production company which means even more delays. Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think about it and the release problems Trick ’r Treat is having.

  • 2009?! I want to see it now or, at the latest, this Halloween. I think this will be worth seeing and if they hold it too long no one will care. Horror movies already get a bum wrap, no need to make it worse by delaying its release.

  • I want to see it now as well. You’re right. If it sits on the shelf for too long, studios will have a hell of a time getting the stars of the film to promote it as they will have moved on to different projects.

If you are into Horror movies, I am writing an article on Torture Porn, to be posted in the near future, that you may enjoy.

  • Cool, I’ll keep an eye out for the article. I do enjoy Horror movies, and I’ve got a few faves in the Torture Porn category.
