TROLLHUNTERS (2016): First Look at Guillermo del Toro’s Netflix TV Series

Trollhunters

Trollhunters First Look Image. Guillermo del Toro‘s Trollhunters (2016) TV show photograph has been released for the Netflix Original Series. The picture features a boy holding a sword, standing next to what is presumably a troll. This is the second TV series that del Toro has brought to airwaves. The first was The Strain, a hit TV series now in its third season on FX.

Trollhunters

On this animated TV series:

DreamWorks…will unleash a new, fantastical world wrapped around the residents of the fictional suburb of Arcadia who make a startling discovery that the world beneath their hometown is as vast and mind-blowing as anything on the surface.

This TV show is a further step by Netflix towards quality family programming for its online streaming service. Del Toro is no stranger to creating fantastical worlds on-screen. Pan’s Labyrinth is a fantastic fantasy (which I believe he should have won the Oscar for), there are the Hellboy films, and must recently Crimson Peak.

Trollhunters has no premiere date yet but I would bet that it begins gracing the Internet by the end of the year.
