Thandie Newton and Melissa George are the latest to board NBC’s eight-episode miniseries.

Newton will play Aisha, a doctor, wife of Hector and mother of their two children. She readies herself for the onslaught as she makes preparations for her husband’s birthday party, irritated but somewhat amused when her in-laws show up. George reprises her role from the Aussie mini as Rosie, a hippie wife and meddlesome mother of Hugo, the 5-year-old boy who is slapped after waving a bat in another boy’s face. Convinced that Hugo has been unalterably traumatized, she sets in motion a confrontation that embroils and affects everyone who witnessed it.

They join Peter Sarsgaard, Mary-Louise Parker, Zachary Quinto and Brian Coxin…directed by Lisa Cholodenko, written by Jon Robin Baitz

Your Family Or Mine (TBS)

Ed Begley Jr. (Arrested Development) and Stephanie Hunt (Californication) have been cast as regulars and Collette Wolfe (Cougar Town) as a recurring on the new series from creator Greg Malins…Your Family Or Mine focuses on young couple Kelli (Kat Foster) and Oliver (Kyle Howard) and alternates between the two sides of the their family.

TBS has cast three key members of Kelli’s family: her father Gil (Begley) and her sisters Dani (Hunt) and Shawni (Wolfe)…Begley’s Gil is the ponytailed patriarch of the Durnin family. The psychology professor thinks his son-in–law Oliver is repressed and diagnoses him with a variety of “psychological” ailments. Hunt’s Dani is the youngest sister and happy-go-lucky wild child in Kelli’s family. She gets away with everything, never gets caught and manages to slide out of awkward family situations, leaving Kelli to deal with it. Wolfe’s Shawni is a bit of a waif, offbeat and a sometime vegan. She has two children from a previous marriage, and her views on child rearing clash with Kelli’s, especially her rule of never saying “no” to her children because it has “negative connotations.”

Devious Maids (Lifetime)

After guest starring in the second-season finale of Devious Maids, Gilles Marini (Brothers & Sisters) will join the cast of the Lifetime series as a regular for Season 3. He will reprise his rose as Sebastien, who will have romantic interests with Carmen Luna (Roselyn Sánchez).

Bailey Chase is set for a multi-episode arc as DEA Agent David Lang on NBC’s Chicago P.D. Gotham (Fox)

Nicholas D’Agosto (Masters Of Sex) has joined the cast of the freshman drama as Harvey Dent. He will be recurring this season with an option to become a regular in Season 2.

Harvey Dent is a bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Although he one day will serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly as a DA, Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become: Two-Face.
