Ciara Renée…has landed a lead in The CW’s proposed Arrow/Flash spinoff series, playing the role of Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl.

In the new series, Saunders is a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the moniker Hawkgirl.

Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who) is set to play Rip Hunter in the superhero team-up show…Rip Hunter, described as a roguish time traveler who hides the strains of being responsible for history itself behind a facade of charm and wit

Shades Of Blue (NBC)

Hampton Fluker has landed a regular role opposite Jennifer Lopez on Shades Of Blue

Fluker will play Patrick Tufo, the precinct’s confident playboy whose sexual exploits often get him into trouble.

Mistresses (ABC)

Emmanuelle Vaugier has booked a six-episode guest role on the upcoming third season of ABC’s summer series Mistresses. She will play Niko, who’s tough, sexy, rocks a very distinctive style and doesn’t care what you think about it. She becomes the new mixologist at Wunderbar and a thorn in Joss’ (Jes Macallan) side.

Take It From Us (NBC)

Japheth Gordon and Joey Pollari have been cast in NBC comedy pilot Take It From Us…Gordon will play Randy, the outgoing and charismatic roommate of Luke (Chris Douglass). Seemingly the only young, gay guy in New York looking for a longtime relationship, he is a romantic who believes every guy he meets is the right one.

Pollari will play Blake, son of Lucas and Alyson (Stacey Farber), who Joey Pollari meets his seemingly conservative parents for dinner. He’s initially prepared to be bored, but when his parents begin talking about some wild incidents from their distant pasts — intended as life lessons for his own future — his ears perk up, and he starts paying very close attention.

Doctor Who (BBC)

Maisie Williams…will do a guest turn on the next season of the cult series…“she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell.”

Also joining the guest cast are Rufus Hound, Tom Stourton, Ariyon Bakare, Simon Lipkin, Ian Conningham, Murray McArthur, Barnaby Kay, John Voce, and Struan Rodger.

Minority Report (Fox)

Zhane Hall has joined the cast of Fox’s drama pilot “Minority Report”

Hall will play Meagan Good’s son in the pilot.
