Portia Doubleday (Her, Carrie) and Carly Chaikin (Suburgatory) have been cast in USA’s pilot Mr. Robot… [it] centers on Elliot (Rami Malek), a young programmer who suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them…Doubleday plays Angela, the pragmatic old childhood friend of Elliot and an account executive at the AllSafe Cyber Security firm. Chaikin…will play Marlene, the chain-smoking striking hipster who also happens to be an expert at writing malicious malware — specifically, dangerous computer worms that take down entire networks.

Rupert Evans (Hellboy) has been tapped for a lead role in Amazon pilot The Man In The High Castle…Evans will play Frank Frink, an artist and an intellectual with a secret.

Power (Starz)

David Fumero (One Life To Live, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY) has been cast as a series regular on Season 2 of Starz’s drama series Power…Fumero…will play Mike Sandoval, the handsome new Chief of the Crime Division, who has moved from Southern California to NY to make sure this prominent investigation is run correctly.

Sons Of Anarchy (FX)

Arjay Smith has joined the cast of FX’s Sons Of Anarchy…Smith will play Grant McQueen, a good, street smart kid who is trying to protect his mother.

Salem Rogers: Model Of The Year 1998 (Amazon)

Leslie Bibb has been tapped for the title role in Amazon Studios’ comedy pilot Salem Rogers: Model Of The Year 1998. Written by Lindsey Stoddart, the project centers on Salem Rogers (Bibb), a self-centered, arrogant former supermodel who is forced to leave rehab after 10 years and reunites with her long-suffering former assistant, now a self-help writer using her years with Salem as an inspiration.
