Sarah Paulson has officially joined the cast of “AHS: Hotel.”

Rain

Katee Sackhoff is set to topline another drama set in the future…Sackhoff has teamed with Continuum producer Reunion Pictures for the project, Rain, which she wrote.

Rain is described as an evolutionary parable that gives us a look into our possible future as a species viewed through the eyes of a soldier named Rain (Sackhoff). It explores how the long-term effects of global warming, the burning of fossil fuels and the scientific manipulation of nature’s balance rot the world and contribute to its decline.

Shadowhunters

McG is set to direct the opening episode of Shadowhunters, the straight-to-series drama….a spinoff of the 2013 feature film The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones

Shadowhunters follows 18-year-old Clary Fray, who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend, Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold.

Shades of Blue (NBC)

Gino Anthony Pesi (“Dallas”) has booked a recurring role on the new NBC drama series “Shades of Blue”

Pesi will portray Assistant District Attorney James Nava.

Taken helmer Pierre Morel will direct the Lifetime drama pilot The Clan Of The Cave Bear

Rock ‘n’ Roll (HBO)

Paul Ben-Victor, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen, James Jagger and J.C. Mackenzie, originally cast as recurring in HBO’s untitled Rock ‘n’ Roll pilot from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, have been promoted to regulars now that the project has gone to series.

Jagger, who is son of the project’s executive producer Mick Jagger, plays Kip Stevens, lead singer of Nasty Bits, an early punk rock band. MacKenzie plays Skip Fontaine, Richie’s partner and Head of Sales for American Century Records. Sorensen plays Ingrid, a Danish actress favored by Andy Warhol and close friend of Richie Finestra’s wife Devon.
