Emily Rios and Ronnie Gene Blevins (Kingdom) have booked arcs on the upcoming second season of HBO’s True Detective…Timothy V. Murphy (Sons Of Anarchy) also has been booked for the first episode of Season 2. Rios…will play Gabby Behenna, traumatized by life in a traumatic family…Blevins…plays a long-standing company man to Vaughn’s character.

C.S. Lee…will recur as Richard Geldof, a state attorney general with grand political ambitions. Described as smooth and polished, the character is well-spoken and intelligent, with an unmoored moral compass.

Untitled vacation comedy pilot (TBS)

Ashley Gerasimovich (We Need To Talk About Kevin) and Liam Carroll (The Neighbors) have joined the cast of TBS’ untitled vacation comedy pilot from married Daily Show duo Jason Jones and Samantha Bee. Written by Jones and Bee based on their own experiences with family getaways, the untitled project will follow a family as they take a road trip to Key West. Gerasimovich…will play Delilah, Nate’s (Jones) rebellious and strong-willed daughter who speaks an incomprehensible pig Latin language. Carroll…will play Jared, Robin (Natalie Zea) and Nate’s son and Delilah’s (Gerasimovich) fraternal twin brother. He’s an off-beat kid who likes to act knowing and cool, however, he’s completely clueless when it comes to matters of sex.

Marvel [has] tapped Krysten Ritter for the lead in the company’s straight-to-series drama Jessica Jones…it came down to her and Teresa Palmer, with both doing chemistry reads with The Following‘s Mike Colter, believed to be the choice for male lead Luke Cage.

the 13-episode drama…centers on Jessica Jones, a superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which leads to her hanging up her costume and opening her own detective agency, where she ends up helping people and assisting other superheroes.
