Game of Thrones (HBO)

Freddie Stroma has joined the cast of Game of Thrones as Dickon Tarly, the younger brother of Samwell Tarly.

Dickon [is] described him as “athletic, a good hunter,” and “not particularly bright.” Dickon is, as he was in the ASOIAF novels, the favored child of Samwell’s stern father Randyll.

According to the agency CV of British actor Richard E. Grant, the actor’s most recent television work is on Game of Thrones. A role is not listed…There are many roles left unfilled at this point, as HBO has not been hugely forthcoming about season 6 casting. We still don’t know who is playing Randyll Tarly, Aeron Greyjoy, the actors of the theatre troupe…, Lord Karstark or Smalljon Umber, and several more characters.

Undercover (BBC)

Dennis Haysbert has joined BBC One drama Undercover.

Haysbert plays a man who has been on death row for 20 years, falsely imprisoned for murder. Maya (Okonedo) can only watch as her dearest friend and client refuses to go quietly, urging her to fight the deep-grained injustices that have tainted two decades of his life.
