LeBron James will guest star on Season 2 of Starz dramedy “Survivor’s Remorse”

Chris Bauer (“True Blood”) will also reprise his role of Jimmy Flaherty for four episodes.

He said James, who currently serves as an executive producer on the series, has been an asset to the writers. While his basketball career precludes him from being in the writers’ room, he regularly pitches story ideas loosely based on his real life experiences.

American Crime (ABC)

Lili Taylor, who played a victims rights advocate in the first season of John Ridley‘s drama “American Crime,” will return for the second season of the series

King will play a different role in Season 2, and will move from a guest star to a series regular.

Cast members Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Regina King, Elvis Nolasco and Richard Cabral have previously been confirmed to return in new roles for the second season.

Underground (WGN America)

Chris Backus (Deliverance Creek) has booked a major recurring role and Empire‘s Jussie Smollett has signed on for two episodes of Underground…Backus will play Jeremiah Johnson, a well-dressed dandy, but a threatening slave catcher. He’s the leader of the Patty Cannon Gang who are after the escaped slaves. Smollett is Josey, a wild-eyed runaway who doesn’t trust anyone, not even those stationed along the way who would try to help him.

Masters of Sex (Showtime)

Sarah Silverman will reprise her role as “Helen” on the third season of MASTERS OF SEX…In the third season, the reunited Helen and Betty (Tony® Award winner Annaleigh Ashford) are trying to have a baby, which unquestionably proves quite a challenge for a lesbian couple in 1966.

Houdini & Doyle (Fox)

Michael Weston (“House”) and Stephen Mangan (“Episodes”) have been cast as the titular leads on Fox’s upcoming mystery adventure drama “Houdini & Doyle.”

Also joining the cast is Rebecca Liddiard (“Man Seeking Woman”) as “Constable Adelaide Stratton,” whose character is the first female constable ever to work for the London Metropolitan Police Force.

Stephen Hopkins (“24”) is set to direct the 10-episode series.

Empire (Fox)

Chris Rock was on the set Tuesday to film the first episode, playing a man from Lucious Lyon’s past who is also a prisoner in the same jail.

James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan. A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for — he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha (yet to be cast). But behind Galavan’s altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains… and the destruction of others.
