TV Renewals: EXTANT, UNDER THE DOME, AWKWARD, TRANSPARENT

Extant, Under the Dome, Awkward, Transparent, and other TV shows have all made recent TV show news by being renewed for an additional season. and other television productions have all made recent TV show casting, TV movie casting, and TV directing news. These shows air on CBS, MTV, and Amazon.

Awkward (MTV)

MTV has renewed its flagship comedy Awkward for a fifth and final season. The series starring Ashley Rickards, Beau Mirchoff, Molly Tarlov, Jillian Rose Reed, Brett Davern, Nikki DeLoach, Desi Lydic, Greer Grammer and Mike Faiola is currently in the second half of Season 4, which has averaged 1.9 million viewers to date.

Under the Dome (CBS)

Extant (CBS)

CBS has made decisions on [two] of its summer original scripted series, picking up Under The Dome and Extant for next summer. There is no information on the number of episodes but word is that the shows…would likely be matching their previous 13-episode pickups.

Transparent (Amazon)

Amazon Studios has renewed the freshman comedy [Transparent] for a second season to air in 2015. It is the second Amazon series to receive a second season order following Alpha House.
