TV Review: DEXTER: Season 5, Ep. 6: Everything is Illumenated

Michael C. Hall, Dexter, Everyything is Illumentated, Header

Dexter Season 5, Episode 6 – entitled Everything is Illumentated – was a first for Lumen Peirce (Julia Stiles). Her first stalking and almost her first kill. Like all murderous firsts, it was sloppy and uncoordinated. Lumen’s had an added ingredient though: paranoia. Was her perception truly acute or did she make a mistake?

The club scene in this episode was really fake. The crowd is spartan and people can hear each other from far away in the club, over the music. In what club in reality is that possible? Come on.

Affection and a genuine relationship is beginning between Quinn and Deborah Morgan. Deborah tried to fight it for a long time but can no longer deny it any longer.

Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is so unused to feeling emotion when he is hit by it it is overwhelming. Hopefully, the more time he spends with Lumen, the more these incidents will continue. The part were we hear about how prom ended for him lightened the mood.
