Golden Globe® award-winning series Mr. Robot returns to USA Network for a third season this October. The series follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who became involved in the underground hacker group fsociety after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater), who he later discovered to be the projection of his dead father. Following the events of fsociety’s five/nine hack on the multi-national company Evil Corp, Season 2 explored the consequences of the attack as well as the illusion of control.

The episode will feature, via IMDB, Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Bobby Cannavale, Carly Chaikin, Chloe Levine, Steve Garfanti, Stephanie Corneliussen, Michael Cristofer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Montaldo, Grace Gummer, Martin Wallstrom, and BD Wong.

Like the trailer for the previous week’s episode, the promo for next week’s is a bit hard to read, focusing as it does more on creating an impression than conveying the plot. What we can tell is that Elliot is in big trouble, with Tyrell swearing off their partnership and Mr. Robot asserting his ownership of the “revolution” they created. All this in the wake of Darlene ratting him out to the FBI spells big trouble for Elliot.

**** We hired Reggie, fulfilled our obligations to him, and he quit in the middle of covering two TV series w/ no notice and no explanation. He then ignored our emails asking him to complete his coverage (we had no one else to cover those TV shows). He didn't care. We regret hiring him and we regret putting our trust in him. **** An aspiring writer, longtime film junkie, and former UCLARadio.com disc jockey (where I graduated with a BA in Political Science), I've made the jump from penning book reviews and current events editorials for HonorSociety.org to writing movie and TV news and reviews. When I'm not working towards my certificate in Radio and Television/Video Production at Fullerton College, I enjoy reading (horror, science fiction, and historical/political nonfiction are particular favorites), participating in my school's TV and theatre clubs, attending movie screenings, plays, concerts, and other events, and trying to come up with pithy things to say on social media. Believe it or not, there are occasions where I find time to write for my own leisure.
