TV Review: THE WALKING DEAD: Season 1, Ep. 4: Vatos

Saying The Walking Dead, Season 1, episode 4 – entitled Vatos – ended with a bang is an understatement. The premonition dream Jim (Andrew Rothenberg) had was excellent as how his past comes out. Very good story telling capped off with what he says at the end of the episode and all the dead bodies everywhere.

I thought they would find Merle (Michael Rooker) but finding what he did after he cut off his own hand was even better.

Amy (Emma Bell) dying the day before her birthday was unfortunate but she had a good death scene. I can’t believe these people didn’t not have a perimeter setup and armed patrols. I guess no one in camp studied Roman history. Too bad.

What really surprised me was that not only is (sorry, was) Ed (Adam Minarovich) a wife beater, he was also a pedophile and with his own daughter no less.
