New TV show trailers, promos, and clips have been released for numerous primetime and cable TV show series, TV mini-series, and TV movies. Those programs include: The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story on FX, Frontier on Netflix, Gunpowder on HBO, BBC, The Chi on Showtime, Cocaine Godmother on Lifetime, Arrow on The CW, and Gotham on Fox.

Gunpowder Trailer

Gunpowder‘s plot synopsis: “The story focuses on Catesby, a committed Catholic at a time when Protestant England persecuted Catholics relentlessly, as his refusal to abandon his religion brings him to the edge of financial, social and psychological ruin. Mark Gatiss (Game of Thrones, Sherlock) plays Robert Cecil, King James’ spymaster, who directs efforts to hunt down, torture and kill priests, while rank-and-file Catholics are subject to oppression and the loss of their property.

The miniseries chronicles the evolution of the plot, the selection of collaborators to carry it out, the gathering of resources and the obstacles to its execution — as Catesby’s team plays a deadly cat and mouse game with Cecil’s ruthless spy network.”

Gunpowder stars Kit Harington, Tom Cullen, Peter Mullan, Edward Holcroft, Shaun Dooley, Mark Gatiss, and Liv Tyler.

Gunpowder will begin airing on HBO on December 18, 2017.

Frontier: Season 2 Trailer

Frontier‘s plot synopsis: “In this epic second season, the frontier expands with spectacular new views of the northern wilderness, and new players entering the ruthless game in the quest for power and wealth – pushing everyone to either embrace unknown alliances or arm themselves against them. Fort James is left in chaos after Michael Smyth (Landon Liboiron), Sokanon (Jessica Matten), and Grace Emberly (Zoe Boyle) detonated a munitions magazine, leaving Declan Harp (Jason Momoa) to slip through the hangman’s noose. The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story‘s plot synopsis: “Based on Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U. S. History by Maureen Orth, The Assassination of Gianni Versace explores the events leading up to Versace’s death, including how he met Cunanan, the FBI hunt for Cunanan (who had already killed four people prior to shooting Versace), and Versace’s sister Donatella’s (Penelope Cruz) wary presence throughout the events. Ricky Martin…stars as Versace’s partner, Antonio D’Amico.”

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story stars Edgar Ramirez, Darren Criss, Penelope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Annaleigh Ashford, Chuck Ashworth, Joseph Barrios, Emil Beheshti, Adam Dormi, and Ralph Cole Jr.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace premieres on January 17, 2018 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.

The Chi Trailer

The Chi‘s plot synopsis: “On Chicago’s south side, an average day finds kids prepping for school as their parents head off to work, young adults trying to make a living, and the elders keeping an eye on things from their front porches. But in this tough neighborhood, real dangers threaten daily to squelch dreams, and the simplest decisions can have life or death consequences. Cocaine Godmother Trailer

Cocaine Godmother‘s plot synopsis: “Academy Award and Tony Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones stars in “Cocaine Godmother: The Griselda Blanco Story,” a Lifetime feature based on the life of drug lord Griselda Blanco, a pioneer in the Miami-based cocaine trade.

At the age of 17, Griselda Blanco, made her way to the U.S. with a fake passport with her first husband Carlos (Carlos Rodriguez). Living in Queens with her three sons Dixon (Matteo Stefan), Osvaldo (Spencer Borgeson), and Uber (Jose Julian), Griselda became enticed by the money the drug world offered, and quickly became embroiled with local drug runners. Griselda masterminded the use of beautiful women, the elderly and children as the mules and created false-bottom suitcases to smuggle cocaine from Colombia. With money rolling in, her sons abandoned school and entered the family business instead. A move to Miami would further expand Griselda’s empire, and lead to the death of her second husband Alberto (Juan Pablo Espinosa), giving the rise to her nickname, The Black Widow.

Her willingness to use violence against her Miami competitors, led her rivals to make repeated unsuccessful attempts to kill her. In order to protect her youngest son with third husband Dario (Raul Mendez), Griselda moved to California where she was later arrested by the DEA and sentenced to a decade in jail. The case against her collapsed and upon her release, she was deported to Colombia, where she was ultimately gunned down in 2012. In her lifetime, Griselda’s drug distribution network spanned across the United States and she was suspected of ordering over 200 murders.”

Cocaine Godmother stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jose Julian, Matteo Stefan, Spencer Borgeson, Carlos Rodriguez, Juan Pablo Espinosa, Raul Mendez, Jenny Pellicer, Alejandro Edda, Jonah Stark, Jaden Rain, Dagan Nish, Lauren Guci, Warren Christie, and Darcy Laurie.

Cocaine Godmother will be released on Lifetime on January 20, 2018.
