What did you think: The Twilight Saga: New Moon

wdyt-the-twilight-saga-new-moon-header

Now that you have seen Twilight: New Moon, what did you think of it? Is this the continuation of a new franchise dynasty, like the Harry Potter films? Was Twilight: New Moon a good film, a good vampire film? Was Twilight: New Moon better than Twilight? Was Twilight: New Moon *snickers* as good as Let the Right One In *lol*? How does it compare with True Blood? Does Twilight: New Moon warrant a third Twilight film?

    New Moon was horrible..

Then again, so was the book. Not sure who to blame here..

And people need to STOP comparing the Twilight films to the Harry Potter films. The Harry Potter films are critically acclaimed, people. Metacritic that shit.

    It was?

Twilight gets compared to Harry Potter because of finance, how much money the films bring in, how the films are cross promoted between book and cinema, and the fact that they are both franchises.

watched the premiere on Guam with the wife. It was just okay for me.. I wouldnt say it was horrible, but compared to most other vampire films, this one stunk… definitely a teenie film

I'm guessing I saw episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer more entertaining than this film. I still have not seen the first one yet.

Girls and girls dragging their guys along is what will make this film mommy, the curious , and people that have to review the film are the audience that will make this film money.

I just don't get it. I mean I just do not get why this film is so loved. Thats not a wolf thats just a large dog. Theirs not even any sex in it at least with true blood you get to see some nasty. from now on vampires should be in Porno and porno only. GOODNIGHT

Teens and vampires are why it is so loved.

That is what is so good about True Blood Lew. You get everything you are looking for.

The werewolves are actually shapeshifters from what I understand from hearing from those that read the book. I guess they made them more appealing in the movie by calling them werewolves.

So instead of making them vastly something more interesting, e.g Shifters, they decided to go the Underworld route. Brilliant.

I never known films to be hyped up so much its madness. Its all about the money. In every interview all the cast members keeps saying how guys will like this film as its darker and their is more action. Girls will like the film because that vampire douchebag takes his top off.

Snakes on a Plane was one of them. We all know how that turned out. It did have funny parts though.

T&A plus action is a powerful combination, especially from a marketing standpoint.

well, twillight as both book and movie was better.though TWI-N.M follows the bk closely i preferred twi even if the fight scene in the end was odd as bella never really sees it in the bk ,i didn't like the new moon as both a book and as a movie

I have not read or seen either film yet. If I am going to read a vampire book it will be Let the Right One In, Interview with a Vampire or the books True Blood is based on.

I have bram stoker's already and saw the film version of salem's lot.

Watched Twilight. That movie was way too long and boring. Those scenes in the forest where they are just laying there, staring at each other. Come on.

I did like how Bella was the aggressor when they were in her room alone and first time edward smells Bella was hilarious.

I also liked how the girl jumps on the tracker, breaks his neck then they throw him into the fire.

All of those almost kisses were corny, weak, as was that dance in the gazebo at the end. It was like soap opera time when that stuff happened.

I did not see nor was there represented something going on in their heads beyond that moment and time (the present).

Watch William Shakespeare's Romie + Juliet direct by Baz Luhrmann. The one starring DiCaprio. That movie is meant for teens and is FAR better, for beginning to end, than Twilight.

well i ve seen that movie a long time ago, and far cuter naah sd read engrossing romances. Topgun was my fav which is why Tom is my alltime cute hunk who can act ,even beats Leo and Hugh grant. i liked Twi cuz it was a better adapation of the book unlike Lotr 2&3, Da vinci code ,Sahara etc which made me cringe and i guess the authors cry
