TV show trailer for CBS’ Under the Dome episode Incandescence. So anybody figure the Coke Classic cast, of UTD, learned their lesson, from last episode’s exercise in love on the battlefield? We probably wouldn’t still have a show, if they did; but the season is wrapping up, so we may be at that point where they either wise up, or the New Coke cast outdoes them, under the dumb.

For Christine Price (Marg Helgenberger), it’s put-up-or-shut-up time, as the new Dome Queen is in place, Dome breaker Joe (Colin Ford) seems to be on board, again, and non-essential Drones are lining up to cull themselves.

‘Incandescence’ plot synopsis:

When the Dome’s calcification process accelerates, Chester’s Mill has 24 hours before the barrier’s breakdown will suffocate everyone inside. While the new deadline puts added pressure on Joe to bring the Dome down, Barbie and Julia race to save his child from The Kinship. Also, Big Jim tries to manage the increasingly volatile Hektor (Eriq La Salle), who is adamant that infected townspeople never escape the Dome.

Based on the trailer, it looks to be something of breakthrough moment for the resistance, as well; with Barbie (Mike Vogel) finally admitting what he should have long figured: that his Kinship conspired kid’s a monster. It also makes it clear that the kid makes it well past the helpless infant stage; so don’t go all-in, investing in Chester’s Mill brain trusts, just yet.

Oh yeah – and it looks like the Dome is coming down, after all… I’ll believe it when I see it (and maybe not even then).

‘Incandescence’ also features Dean NorrisRachelle Lefevre, Eddie CahillMackenzie LintzMax EhrichAlexander KochAllie McCulloch, Gia Mantegna, and Eriq la Salle. It airs Thursday, Sep. 3, at 10:00pm, EST, on CBS.
