Universal Soldier IV: 3D Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren Return

Universal Soldier IV, to be directed by John Hyams and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, is coming and in 3D. The quality of Universal Soldier: Regeneration promoting another film in the series to be produced is understandable.  The strange part of this announcement by Foresight Unlimited is that the film is proposed to be released in 3D. Universal Soldier: Regeneration would have been a great ending to the series but if they can duplicate that intensity and quality in a follow-up film, I’m all for it. Presenting the film in 3D, which will most-ikely be STV release, is unnecessary. How can you view the film in 3D at home? In addition, will the movie be filmed natively in 3D like Avatar? I doubt that as those cameras must cost a lot of money and I don’t see Foresight Unlimited using James Cameron / Vincent Pace‘s Fusion Camera System (3D) like Resident Evil: Afterlife is. When more news on Universal Soldier IV becomes available, we will let you know.
