V (2009) Season 2, Ep. 1: Red Rain: First 14 Minutes

Morena Baccarin, V

The First 14 Minutes of V (2009) Season 2, Ep. 1: Red Rain have premiered. The first 14 minutes of Red Rain addresses one of the main issues with the last episode of season one, written about here: TV Review: V (2010): Season 1, Ep.12: Red Sky. I’m glad to see that show writers Gregg Hurwitz and Scott Rosenbaum addressed the question of Anna (Morena Baccarin) and her outburst of emotion. Synopsis of Red Rain:

Anna has unleashed Red Sky on the planet. With the world on the brink of war and chaos all around, is there anyone who can stand up to her? Meanwhile, Ryan has been kept in isolation on the mothership, away from his hybrid baby so that Anna can experiment on her; Chad, seeking redemption for being used by Anna, now wants to fight with the Fifth Column; and Erica goes on a journey to find a scientist who can give her the answers to what Red Sky is, and where she learns the horrifying secret of what the V’s are doing on our planet.

Now The Visitors have tails like Dren from Splice. How is that possible? Where does that hide in that human skin? Is it just the Queen or do all Visitors have tails? I would love to see ten minutes dedicated to Visitor physiology. How could humanity not do a detailed body scan of Visitors before letting them walk among us? The new season of V begins on January 4, 2011 on ABC.
