VENOM (2018) Teaser Trailer: Tom Hardy is Courted by a “Demon” in the Latest Marvel Film

Venom Trailer

Ruben Fleischer‘s Venom (2018) teaser trailer stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson, Riz Ahmed, and Jenny Slate. I have waiting for a good cinematic version of Venom since the laughable version that showed up in Sam Raimi‘s Spiderman 3. The Venom version that showed up in Venom: Truth in Journalism short film was interesting, especially Eddie Brock talking to the symbiote, but Venom in costume was never on-screen.

The latter is true in this trailer starring Tom Hardy’s Venom but Eddie Brock’s powers after the bonding are on full display. Eddie is capable of thing that I didn’t know his character was capable. Perhaps that is just clever editing and Brock really has no telekinetic abilities.

Venom was ideal for his own adaptation because of his history of fighting on the side of evil and fighting on the side of good. Venom is multifaceted and non-one dimensional, especially the symbiote’s history pre-Eddie Brock.

I am looking forward to the full trailer for Venom and to the full plot synopsis for the film.

Venom also stars Tom Holland, Jenny Slate, Scott Haze, Marcella Bragio, Reid Scott, Michelle Lee, Mac Brandt, Sailor Larocque, Al-Jaleel Knox, Sam Medina, and Jessica Dawson Strong.

Venom was written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner.
