Trailer for Arrow/The Flash Animated Spinoff Vixen Comes Out. It looks like we finally have the first trailer for the upcoming animated series Vixen. Set in the same world as Arrow and The Flash, the new series stars Megalyn Echikunwoke as the titular heroine.

If you are unfamiliar with the new animated series, Vixen is about Mari McCabe, a woman whose parents were murdered by greediness, corruption, and reckless bloodshed. However, the young orphaned Mari rejects falling into the horrors surrounding her. After inheriting her family’s heirloom, the Tantu Totem, Mari is given the ability to mimic any animal on Earth – whether it’s the speed of a cheetah or the incredible strength of a gorilla. Donning the name Vixen, she fights to protect the world from threats like those that killed her family.

Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Emily Bett Rickards, and Carlos Valdes will reprise their roles from their live-action shows. If the series does well, then the character could make a live-action appearance down the line or even a live-action series. The series will debut on The CW’s web counterpart CW Seed sometime this year with six half-hour episodes. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
